Bonnie arrives at a women's refuge and finds herself among women from equally horrible situations, not that she’d know, they don’t speak about it. Outside the world is a dangerous and scary place but inside the refuge the women feel safe, they laugh and form friendships, share responsibilities and find a new strength.
